Tour of Britain comes to the Essex!!!
On 17 September 100 of the world’s best cyclists will be lining up in Bury St Edmunds for the start of the seventh stage of The Tour of Britain to Colchester.
It’s going to be a great day for Essex as The Tour of Britain, the UK’s biggest professional bike race, weaves its way across the Suffolk & Essex county border; racing through the heartland of Essex and building to an exciting finale in the heart of Colchester.
Spectators are encouraged to get close to the action by lining the route to watch this exhilarating road race and to join in with the finish line festivities at Colchester’s Castle Park.
The race starts in Bury St Edmunds at 10:15 and will finish at East Hill in Colchester at 13:40
